Davila Engineering provided MEPFP engineering services for a Bi-Plane addition. The project consisted of demolition of Endoscopy rooms and Admissions areas and providing a new Class II Bi-Plane Imaging Room, System Modalities Equipment Room, and Bi-Plane Control Room. DE also performed an in-depth engineering analysis of the existing HVAC system and developed system remediation in lieu of replacements. This netted significant cost savings and reduction in project schedule. The mechanical design included additional HVAC for system equipment heat rejection, new medical gasses in the Bi-Plane procedure room and modifications to the fire protection system and new plumbing to support the project scope. This project was an AHCA reviewable project.
