Davila Engineering provided MEPFP engineering services for the addition of a new Bi-Plane Suite. The engineering required the design for the demolition of existing systems within the Ortho and PEDS area to allow for the addition of a new Class II Bi-Plane procedure room, control room, equipment modalities room, (5) PACU bays, nurse station, support areas and shell space for future Class II IR room. Modifications to the existing fire alarm and nurse call system along with electrical engineering to expand the electrical system was provided. The mechanical design included additional HVAC for system equipment heat rejection, new medical gasses in the Bi-Plane and PACU area, modifications to the fire protection system and new plumbing to support the project scope. This project was an AHCA reviewable project.
