Davila Engineering (DE) provided comprehensive engineering services for the $3M Generator and Switchboard Replacement project at Memorial Manor Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The project involved replacing the existing 80kW generator with a 200kW generator, upgrading the associated generator switchboard, and replacing two critical ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and the generator quick connect switchboard. DE was responsible for the electrical and mechanical design, including modifications to fuel lines and power systems to support the new equipment. The scope also included the design for temporary power during the replacement, the installation of a new generator annunciator panel, and the development of power system coordination and fault analysis studies to ensure compliance. In addition, DE provided detailed construction administration services, including project oversight, attendance at pre-construction meetings, and support during the installation process to ensure proper implementation and code compliance.
