Memorial Regional

Davila Engineering (DE) was hired to provide electrical engineering and construction administration services for the $300K Electrical Equipment Upgrade project at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, FL. The project involves documenting the existing electrical conditions in Operating Room (OR) #16 and modifying the power systems to support the installation of a new OR robot system. DE’s scope includes the design of new power distribution, including electrical connections for the robot equipment, power system coordination, and fault studies. Additionally, DE designed code-compliant electrical receptacles and ensure room air balance and medical gas systems meet AHCA requirements. The project will be designed under a single phase for AHCA review, with signed and sealed documents submitted for approval. During the construction phase, DE will provide support by responding to review comments, attending pre-construction meetings, and conducting final inspections. As-built documents will also be delivered upon project completion.
